Have you ever had something that you were not proud of? Yeah, me too. I am someone who has been dealing with depression for years. You probably read about it here. But things have happened within the past month that makes me want to come out and say "I am not perfect. I am working on me. I am not unstable, I am Liz. I was broken. I am getting fixed." I have no idea what lies are being spread on the webs, but coming from me: I am proud of who I am. I have a tattoo on my wrist that says Love. Under that ink are scars that are fading. I am not afraid to tell you what I have been through. It is a sickness and I cannot help it. Its not like I woke up one day and was depressed. So to my friends that are sticking by me through everything, thank you. I am very happy I have all of you.

Layla- you are my big sister and I love you with all my heart. Thank you for being there though thick and thin--even when you're hopped up on painkillers and still listen when you are healing. If you don't know Layla, you need to. She's the best. Hands down ya'll.

D- you are my Stanie. You make me believe that I am like Carrie Bradshaw. You will never know how much I love you and care about you. I will always be here for you.

Candace- You are so fabulous. You are probably one of the reasons I got into UW-L because you took time out of your life to edit my essays. You are so caring about someone that literally lives half-way across the United states from you. Thank you.

Thank you to old friends that I have come to talk to again.

I could take time to thank everyone but you guys would get bored. To my Twitter followers that are there for me and help me through random tribulations---thank you. I love social media.

So there you have it. Believe what you want, but I am proud of who am and who I become.

I am making new friends in the process and life is good.

PS: Thank you to our Troops who fight for us everyday. I am proud to say that my uncle-in-law, my cousins and my uncle are all in the military.
